W. Bro. Robert Reed (Bob) McConnell who passed to the GLA on March 19, 2012. Resting at the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 222 Autoroute 20, Pointe Claire, QC.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, March 23 between 7:00 and 9:00 PM.

A Masonic Service to honour him will be held on Satuday, March 24 at 10:00 AM at that location. Brethren will assemble at 9:30 AM. This will be followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM by Rev. Bro. Ralph Watson, Grand Chaplain, GRQ.

May the family be comforted and spared any further sorrow.

A short and unexpected heart problem developed last week causing his admittance to the hospital’s intensive care facility. Regretfully his condition deteriorated over the short period.

Our sincere sympathies are extended to his only brother David Bussey and his wife Catherine of Edmonton Alberta. It is our understanding that arrangements are being made for his cremation, whereby his ashes will be returned with the family to Alberta. There will be no visitation or formal funeral services at this time.

St. Andrews Lodge No.53 will be holding a Memorial Service in his honour. Details to follow. May he rest in peace.

    The delegation left Montreal at about eight AM. We carpooled so that help with expenses. The group was under the direction of V. W. Bro. Martin and supported by W. Bro. Lisio.

    We were about seventeen Bro and exemplified the third degree. We were warmly welcomed and treated to a wonderful banquet hour with enough food to feed a small village.

    Visiting is a corner stone masonry, and fraternal exchange visits are a Keystone.

    I hope we can make this an annual event (perhaps on a exchange basis).
