I had not heard from Keith in some time, and was missing his blogspots and humour. Life just got busy, and although I tried to contact him a couple of times, I did not follow through. Ergo, I only just today learned that what I was suspected was so - thet Keith had passed to the G.L.A. I first met Keith some 15 years ago. We became immediate and fast friends. I valued his counsel, and was glad to offer a listening ear when he needed one. Keith was a stand up guy. A true gentleman. And a real brother. I may have missed the memorial service, but the memory of Keith will stay with me always - R.I.P., my friend. Bro. Robert Head / Laurentian 81

Dear Ken,
as far as I know, in our Lodge, the office of the Tyler is usually filled by a Past Master. Maybe someone more knowledgeable will correct me if I'm wrong.

Since I joined it was always performed by my good friend, V. Wor. Bro. Keith Bussey, who recently passed to the Grand Lodge Above.

Fraternal regards,
Adam S.

I note above, the Tyler is responsible for preparing the lodge Room, prior to meetings.
I understand this is the D.C & A.D.C's Duty.,who are usually Past Masters.
Whereas, the Tyler may be a Junior Mason.
Kind Regards Ken.

Please pass along my sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I grew up with Keith in Verdun, starting in kindergarten and we lost track of each other in the late 70's, when I moved into the arctic. We spent a lot of time together at the Dawson's Boys Club, EXPO 67 and in the High School Band. I am the guy that put the dish soap solution into Keith's tuba, the night of one of our High School concerts. (He was madder than a wet hen LOL). He was a pretty decent stand up comic, even when he wasn't trying to be. We had a lot of fun together and he will be missed.
